Hi, I’m GuyK’Andi – aka Andy

I was an exercise/gym-phobe for many years then, having put on a few extra pounds at uni, I ventured to my first aerobics class and became hooked on group exercise after seeing rapid changes in my own physique.

Since taking my ETM (Exercise to Music) qualification in 2005, I haven’t looked back and have added Body Balance, Body Attack, Body Pump, Fit Ball, Free Style Aqua, Step Aerobics and WaterWorks and PureStretch, to my repertoire – even presenting at Fitness Fiesta events.

Princess K and I first met during instructor auditions for a new studio in Waterlooville. I’d had some experience with Pole in the past, and arranged to attend one of Princess K Fitness’ classes where I felt totally accepted by everyone; especially being the only boy!

After progressing quickly, following the PDC AAP grading syllabus, it soon became obvious that the next step was to become a Pole Instructor within the Princess K Fitness team. So, after very little persuasion, I signed up and became the first ever ‘boy’ booked on to KT Coates’ Vertical Dance course; qualifying in December 2011.

The name “Guy K’Andi” was born after much deliberation – it wasn’t my first Pole Doll name – you’ll have to ask me privately to reveal what my original name was!

Drawing on 6 years of fitness teaching experience, I combine this with my own very individual style.

I also run PKF’s Strut and PureStretch Workshops; I love the diversity that we offer within PKF!  Do check out our Workshops page for more details of these great sessions.

By day, I’m the lead New Product Development Project Manager within the food industry but, by night …..

I become Guy K’Andi, your cheeky Pole guy; delivering a truly unique Pole class – an experience, once tried, never forgotten!
