Hi – I’m Tiger Lily – aka George
I’ve enjoyed Pole since 2008 and have found it completely addictive, and fun, from day 1!
I love to dance, and took part in ballet, tap and modern dance as a youngster; I’ve even got a GCSE in Dance.
My theatrical background – a BA Hons in Drama with Sport & Education as minors – means that my classes always have a real blend of these skills.
Over the years, I’ve attended Masterclasses and Workshops with some amazing elite performers who have inspired me to do two things – to take part in two competitions and to become an Instructor!
In 2012, I took part in the Solent Pole Competition and went on to win the Performers category which probably sums me up; I really do like to do everything with Jazz Hands!
After competing, I decided to undertake the PDC AAP and so far have achieved my Level 3 which, in turn, helped me make the decision to become an Instructor. I qualified in November 2013 through Vertical Dance (KT Coates) and I’m now working towards my Level 4 PDC AAP.
I took on the role of Risqué Instructor in 2015, this allows me the utter joy of teaching a little more sauciness with PKF’s version of Lap and Chair classes – apparently, I was the natural choice so make of that what you will!
Dallas and I have also recently started Pole Doubles training, and we took part in our first public performance at a charity event in February 2016 – the video is on our Events (Past) Page so do check it out, we had such fun!!
I enjoy teaching for PKF, we have our very own Pole family; supporting, encouraging, cheering each other on, laughing and sharing everything with each other through classes including some of our frustrations too!
By day, I’m an office gal but, by night ….
With my Wonder Woman trainers and shorts, I become Tiger Lily, bringing lots of sauciness and a sprinkling of sexy spiciness to classes and Workshops, with my legendary Body Waves!
